An affluent baby-monitor
Taking care of a new-born baby is no joke, especially if you and your partner are two people who only find enough time to shuffle between home and work. One of the most important aspects of taking care of a baby is managing and accepting it’s sleep cycle for what it is. We often come across parents who whine about their kids not letting them sleep, don’t we? Nanit, a premium luxury brand has recently announced its launch of a baby monitor, which can now help you solve the problem of your child’s erratic sleep schedule. The camera of this device makes use of machine learning to monitor the sleeping patterns of the child. The Nanit camera streams a high-definition video and audio feed which is connected over WiFi. The information gathered by the camera is encrypted and processed by the server network where the information is analyzed and personalized suggestions are given out for a better sleeping pattern and behaviour for the child. In short, the device can be said to be mimicking the work of a sleep-coach, consulting pediatricians before giving out suggestions on the sleeping behaviour. For example, suggesting the ideal temperature and humidity for your child’s optimal sleep is something the device can handle at ease. These preferences are often put out only after the monitor has observed the kid over a period of time, making it more reliable for your child’s good night sleep and hence yours too.
