The beautiful Ranch which is loved by the people who work there and vacationists is up for sale at a price of $30 million. The Beartooth Ranch is located in Nye, Montana. The Ranch spans up to 12,350 acres. This was owned by the famous actor/director Mel Gibson for 17 years. He bought this Ranch in 1988 and sold it to its current owners in the year 2005. Kent and Pam Williams are the current owners of the Ranch. The Williams are the founders of Montana Silversmiths. It is said that the deal between the owners was closed just with a handshake. The Beartooth Ranch is filled with irritated Meadows, pastures and pine foothills in Southern Montana. The Williams are very fond of Nature’s habitat. Their prime aim was to restore and maintain nature in its original form. Kent Williams once came to California to visit Mel Gibson and that is how the “Handshake deal” happened between Kent and Gibson. Gibson paid a visit to the Ranch weeks before the deal was closed to thank his employees for their long time service. However, the Williams planned to keep the same old employees in functioning the Ranch with the same manager as well. They even decided to not change the name of the Ranch. The Ranch is in a town of about 2000 people which is located 5 miles from South West of Columbus. It can carry up to 1000 cattle and horses. The property also comprises a couple of modest homes, various barns and shops in it. The Stillwater River in it is known to be the ideal place for trout fishing. The property acts as a gift to the wildlife such as elks, deer’s, wild turkeys and pheasants.
