Gear up for telepathy!
Yes, you read that right. Elon Musk is one of the most creative and imaginative technology entrepreneurs in today’s world. He’s been around in the news a lot in the last few years for his innovative startups like Tesla and SpaceX. Recently he has announced the launching of neurotechnology company called Neuralink. Neuralink has been said to be researching on how an implantable brain-chip can be used to connect to the internet once done. These electrodes have been tested on rats in the last few years, the transition from rats to humans may or may not be smooth and that could be a cause of worry but it’s important to stay hopeful and chirper about it for how this success of the chip could make the competitiveness of AI a smaller threat. The chip is said to be of 1v and 4x4mm. Musk has also announced that the chip could be implanted in a painless manner comparing it to how LASIK surgery works. The chip has also been tested on monkeys and received a successful output of getting connected to a computer. This chip when placed in two people can help them communicate telepathically, no we aren’t exaggerating here! The chip is expected to be tested on humans by the second half of next year. Fingers crossed and minds open.
