ROST- THE ISLAND OF BLISS FOR BIRDWATCHING AND FISHING

They were welcomed by a population of nearly a hundred people and were taken care of during their time of visit. The sailors documented their trip while they eventually returned back. Since then it led to an enormous appetite for the Norwegian stockfish which sustained the economy of the island. Some community decided to stay on the island. There is also a restaurant here which is named after the Captain, Pietro Querini. When Querini doesn’t grant much people started taking up fishing to make a living.
